What it is

Nightwatch is an end-to-end framework built on W3C WebDriver with its own runner, assertion library, page-object model and parallel execution. Version 3 added component testing and Chrome DevTools protocol support. It is maintained by BrowserStack, which shows in unusually smooth device-cloud integration.

Community is a fraction of Playwright's or Cypress's; fewer answers exist for edge cases.
WebDriver-based, so it carries the usual latency and waiting caveats.
Corporate stewardship by a device-cloud vendor is worth weighing if you plan to use a competitor.
